"Winter Warmer" Yoga Retreat 2020

The magic continues this year! We’re back this November with a smaller Winter Warmer to chase away those winter blues.
Don’t let the stress of a busy life flatten your energy and spirit! Retreat to the Wicklow mountains to a stunning converted farmhouse for a truly nourishing weekend of:
Yoga, Great Food, Life Coaching & Sound Bath
The safety of guests and hosts comes before anything else. To reduce risks, the number of guests will be limited to half the number of guests as previous retreats. Food-serving methods and many other details will be changed to reduce contact risk and ensure guests feel as comfortable as possible.
Full details of Covid-19 measures will be included on the application form or can be requested separately. These measures may change between now and the date of the retreat to reflect changes in government guidelines.
In the unlikely event that changes to government guidelines will mean the retreat won’t be possible, full refunds will be given.
Maura will guide you through various styles of yoga, from Vinyasa (a strengthening & energizing moving meditation linking breath and movement) to Yin (a deeply relaxing floor based practise).
This will be the perfect opportunity for those that have practiced yoga virtually over the lockdown to get in-person guidance, and feel the energy of a room of other yogis.
Classes will be exclusively designed for this retreat only, and will be themed around Heat and Earth to soothe those winter blues!
Lifecoach Workshop with Style-Selfology
Perfectly complimenting the yoga practises, Roisin Kelly from Style-Selfology (NLP-certified life coach) will be working with you on a lifecoach & vision board workshop.
She’ll share proven techniques to improve mental and emotional well-being and confidence through a variety of methods: the power of NLP (positive self talk), guided journaling, tapping techniques, manifestation and vision board creation. This powerful tool kit will help you change negative habits and introduce a happy & positive impact to your life.

The amazing Aoife Mannion will be leading a sound bath:
An immersion in therapeutic acoustic sound, a restorative experience where the body rests in the vibrations of instruments which are played with the intention of healing.
The vibrations from the Gong, Tibetan and Crystal singing bowls, healing Mantras, chimes wash over you to evoke a deep, rich, intricate web of reverberations that quiets the mind, connecting you to a state of deep relaxation and restoration.

Food wonderful food
Food glorious food! We are blessed to have our very own private chef Chloe Harris for the weekend, all of which is included in the retreat price. The food served will all be vegetarian – if you don’t usually eat veggie prepare to have your mind blown! All dietary needs will be catered for.

You’ll be staying at Monalea Barn, a stunning converted farmhouse at the foot of Croghan hill, just an hour’s drive from Dublin. It features a warm, large restored-stone barn for yoga and dining, and a number of cosy twin bedrooms in the barn and farmhouse.
